- Agency Business Partnership and the York Area Labor Management Council co-host a workplace violence seminar at Penn State York
- Behavioral Health Task Force successfully advocates for the
development of a
methadone maintenance clinic in York.
- Countywide Health Department Task Force contracts with
Drexel University School of Public Health to implement a
feasibility study to evaluate the potential for creating a
countywide public health resource. Creation of a countywide
public health department is one of the YorkCounts 30 "ready
solutions"
- The Housing Task Force initiates efforts to research the
potential for expanding affordable housing beyond the 100
new or rehabilitated units called for in the YorkCounts

- Oral Health Task Force works to establish the Hoodner Dental
Center and recruits community dentists to volunteer services at the
center
- Healthy Lifestyles Task Force promotes ShapeUp PA and
supports York County
participants through organized activities. ShapeUp PA is a
20 week physical activity and weight loss initiative.
